TRAINING IN ACTION

Multiple operational platforms require periodic component modifications and inspections. During the analysis stage, the customer explained the modification took significantly longer than program guidelines. Elevated’s review of the problem included direct observation of the operators conducting the procedure, which identified several issues contributing to the failing procedure including a lack of understanding of the procedure, limited preparation or scheduling, outdated documentation, and lack of organization. Elevated created the first training curriculum for the program focusing on repetition of the procedure to develop the skills and knowledge necessary while emphasizing scheduling, planning, proper crew performance, and supervision.

As a result of our weeklong training course, maintenance down time for the procedure reduced from over 96 hours to under 12 hours per occurrence, per site. This increased operational mission time by over 500 hours per site annually.

Training and Technical Documentation

Elevated’s training team works hand in hand with our technical writing team to provide updated technical documentation that reflect the most current information available due to training and operational process changes. As programs evolve and training is created or augmented changes to the initial documentation will take place. Without proper documentation of updated training materials and operational procedures programs run the risk of reverting back to older, less efficient, or incorrect process.
