Elevated Technologies LLC is Supporting QinetiQ US on the DHS/CBP Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Contract as a member of Team ACES

To advance missions of safeguarding the southern border, U.S. Customs and Border Protection awarded the TARS contract to QinetiQ US with Elevated Technologies LLC among its small business subcontracting team.

Jan. 2024 – Elevated Technologies LLC is providing support on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) IV contract awarded to QinetiQ US as a member of Team ACES. This contract comprises one base year with four option years and is valued at $170M.

TARS Site

Team ACES is a partnership led by QinetiQ US (formerly Avantus Federal) that includes C-Speed LLC, Elevated Technologies LLC, and Sky Ship Services Incorporated (SSI). The team will provide aerostat operations, air-surface radar operations, ground control and data networking systems monitoring, and data analysis to facilitate effective and efficient TARS operations in support of DHS/CBP mission priorities. Elevated Technologies will support the TARS program through operations and maintenance, training, technical documentation, and data networking systems support services.

The eight TARS sites, used for interdicting low-level air, maritime and surface targets along the United States border, from Arizona to Puerto Rico, will be operated by Team ACES relaying critical information to DHS and its counterparts. Elevated Technologies LLC is ready to deliver next level capability to support the real-time, persistent, long-range detection and monitoring capabilities that play a pivotal role in safeguarding these critical regions against illicit activities, contributing significantly to the success of border and maritime security efforts.
